Crazy Australian Wildlife

Last night we went for tapas in Darlinghurst. As we walked back to the hotel in the twilight I looked up and saw a huge flock of black birds pouring silently from Hyde Park. And then I realized that they weren't birds: it was an enormous flock of bats. They flew as a flock out of the park and then broke off to dart at insects. As we wandered along I saw a dark shape running through the park and then climbing a tree. It was a possum! Although I didn't want to frighten the possum with my camera flash, it looked much like this one!
